Day 6: Seawal 7.30 pagi, kami beredar memulakan lawatan di Luxor. Bandar Luxor ini terbahagi dua iaitu west bank and east bank. Lawatan kami bermula dengan west bank area. Di west bank, kami melawat Colossi of Memnon facing the nile. This Colossi are all that remains of the mortuary temple of Amenophis III.

Kemudian kami bergerak ke Temple of queen Hatshepsut at Dier El Bahari. The temple make it a unique example of the egyption architecture. The temple consisted of a series of vast terraces which by means of ramps, moved up to sanctuary.

Selepas itu, lawatan diteruskan dengan Valley of the Kings and Queens where tombs of 64 pharaohs and 57 queens have been discovered. The tombs of the valley of the kings are all decorated. Often the deceased pharaoh was depicted with the gods protecting him. The most famous tomb in the entire valley of the kings is that of Tutankhamen where the splendid treasure was found.

Akhir sekali kami ke The Valley of the Nobles. On the way balik, kami melalui ladang2 pertanian.

Kami melawat karnak temple, is one of the greatest architectural achievements of antiquity. It is a vast complex that embodies the works of many pharaohs added over the centuries. It was the most important sanctuary in ancient Egypt. Then we visit the temple of luxor, which was started by amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II.
